新疆哈密市钛矿资源丰富,具有发展钛产业的独特优势。新疆湘晟新材料科技有限公司2013年落户哈密市,是全疆唯一冶炼生产钛金属及生产加工钛合金材料的企业,也是全国首家从钛矿开采到生产海绵钛、钛材、钛合金的钛全产业链企业,是国内装备水平一流、综合竞争实力领先的钛材生产基地。
新疆大学物理科学与技术学院与新疆湘晟新材料科技有限公司联合申报的2020年自治区重点研发专项项目“13吨大型还原蒸馏联合炉工艺及装备研发”获批立项,标志着物理学院科学研究水平显著提升,服务社会能力明显增强,进一步夯实了学院作为自治区高层次创新人才培养和高水平科研成果产出的重要基地的地位,有力地促进了新疆大学“双一流”建设。
Achievement summary
Hami City in Xinjiang has abundant titanium ore resources and unique advantages in developing the titanium industry. Xinjiang Xiangsheng New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. settled in Hami City in 2013. It is the only enterprise in Xinjiang that smelts and produces titanium metals and processes titanium alloy materials. It is also the first titanium full industry chain enterprise in China from titanium ore mining to the production of sponge titanium, titanium materials, and titanium alloys. It is a titanium production base with first-class equipment level and leading comprehensive competitive strength in China.
The 2020 Autonomous Region Key R&D Special Project "Research and Development of 13 ton Large Reduction Distillation Combined Furnace Process and Equipment" jointly applied by the School of Physical Science and Technology of Xinjiang University and Xinjiang Xiangsheng New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. has been approved, marking a significant improvement in the scientific research level of the School of Physical Science and Technology of Xinjiang University, a significant enhancement in its ability to serve society, and further consolidating its position as an important base for cultivating high-level innovative talents and producing high-level scientific research results in the Autonomous Region, effectively promoting the construction of "Double First-Class" in Xinjiang University.
